What is a CSA?
It is a system in which a farm operation is supported by shareholders within the community who share both the benefits and risks of food production. Our CSA is a little different, we supplement our farm produce with other farms to get a wider variety weekly.
When you become a member of a CSA you are purchasing a share of vegetables from a local farmer for a certain number of weeks.
Jazbac Farm CSA Offering
Community Sponsored Agriculture
Jazbac Farm is offering (20) Shares in the garden for $390 per share. Each share will receive a weekly produce basket for (10) weeks. This is a $40 savings over purchasing baskets individually.
Shareholders will receive priority choice of produce prior to any produce sold to non-shareholders.
Why Purchase Shares?
Know where your food comes from and how it is grown. Know the farmer. Visit or ask questions.
Support locally grown produce and you will be supporting the family farms, keeping your food dollar circulating locally to support an economically healthy community.
Becoming a CSA member helps ensure that the farmer has what he needs to invest in land, labor, seeds, fertilizer, water, or other items necessary to ensure a successful growing season.
Joining a CSA allows the consumer to have better tasting food, know where it comes from, lower his carbon footprint, and support the farmer to ensure he has what he needs to grow and expand the farm and return that investment by furnishing chicken eggs, honey, cheeses, etc.
To Join the CSA, Go to Shop and add CSA Produce Basket to your shopping cart. You may call, or text a credit card, or mail your check to:
